Job description:

Facilitate and oversee the work of the Trade Contractors for compliance with quality and programme requirements.

Person Specification:

1. It is essential that the post holder demonstrate proven quality site-based experience associated with successfully delivering a large scale project. Post holders must demonstrate practical experience and provide evidence of working in a Construction Management capacity.

2. It is essential that the post holder be fully familiar with the coordination of interfaces between trade packages, and assist with processing of technical queries and requests for information raised by contractors.

3. A relevant trades qualification to support proven practical experience is desirable.

4. It is essential that the post holder be commercially aware and contractually astute.

5. It is essential that the post holder be effective in motivating Trade Contractors and be able to communicate with Design Consultants, Statutory Authorities, and Technical Support Staff.

6. It is essential that the post holder be able to accurately record site progress on a daily basis.

7. It is essential that the post holder be able to self manage, use initiative and think analytically.

8. It is essential that the post holder is Computer Literate and have past experience of using document management software.

9. Experience of BIW software is highly desirable.
