Lecturer in the Built Environment Section, School of Construction, Lambeth College. Teaching a range of subjects to the HNC, BTEC National Certificate/ Award in Construction courses. Subjects taught includes Analytical Methods, Construction and The Built Environment, Environmental Science, Materials and Construction Technology, Graphical Detailing, Surveying, Construction Design Principles and Applications, Planning - Organisation and Control of Resources, Project Management, Information Technology, AutoCAD, etc.

1983-1988 Design/project engineer, resident engineer/assistant resident engineer for several environmental, flood relief and sewer renovation schemes for the London boroughs of Haringey and Lambeth

1983 Design/Lead Engineer for Seba Consulting Engineers, Tour Franklin, La Defense, Paris , France. Lead a group of engineers and draughtsmen for the design of water supply and drainage of 2 desalination plants built in Saudi
Arabia.

1983 Temporary Lecturer/Tutor at Civil Engineering Department, Thames Polytechnic (now Greenwich University).

4/81 12/82 Water/ Irrigation Engineer for Pencol Engineering Consultants, London SW1
engaged on gathering data and assisting in compiling a manual and codes of practice for Irrigation and Drainage design for the State Organisation for Land Reclamation of Iraq.
