Employed from June 2004 to April 2007 as a Service Technician, involved in the maintenance, repairs and call outs on a wide variety of elevator and escalator equipment.

Elevator Technologies Ltd

I started Elevator Technologies in July 1993 by the completion of the first year I had three business partners. Being self employed I was heavily involved in all aspects of the elevator business from cold calls for new client /contract design and negotiation /product design /general maintenance/repairs and call outs. We sold Elevator Technologies to ThyssenKrupp Elevator in June 2004.

Otis Elevators

Employed from 1987 to June 1993

Employed as a Service Adjuster from January 1989 till June 1993, duties include technical back for Service Technicians, re-commissioning exist elevator systems and trouble shooting on units with high callouts or where Technicians were still unable to diagnose and repair.
Employed as a Service Technician from January 1987 to January 1989, duties were general maintenance, repairs and after hour call outs.

Electrical Equipment Ltd

Employed as an Electrician from February 1986 until January 1987, involved in commercial and industrial electrical installation and breakdowns. A large portion of the work was wiring in petrol pumps including cashier pump control systems, recalibrating and re-pricing petrol pumps.

Pacific Steel Ltd

Employed as an Electrical Apprentice from January 1982 until January 1986 involved in heavy industrial installation and maintenance. Working on a wide variety of electrical equipment from 33,000 Volt arc furnace to 12 volt intercom systems.

Used In Circuit Emulator for 6809 micro processor chip
